Responsible Gambling

Responsible gaming is a matter of the soul of the EGA - our members are guided by the principle that gambling is secure and entertaining. From the view of responsible gaming, Estonia is unique in having a nationally central and digital gambling restriction list (HAMPI) in which each person is able to add themselves independently. All market participants must ensure integration with the HAMPI list in order to provide services in a customer-friendly and secure manner.

We are also protected by consumer protection through marketing. The Estonian legal environment clearly distinguishes between gambling advertising, e.g. corporate brand advertising, and gamble advertising. While gambling advertising is largely permitted, restrictions will apply to gamble advertising for the purpose of player protection, including a restriction on the location of the ad.

It is also important to emphasize the protection of players from the "loss limit" mode view, since the remote gambling operator must ensure that the customer can determine the loss limit both on the first login and on subsequent visits transparently and understandably.
